The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has a new home right outside Orlando. The USTA National Campus is a state-of-the-art facility, beaming with over 100 courts, coaching for every age, pro shop, restaurants, events, and much more. Tennis is truly a sport for all ages, meaning it’s never too late to start. This campus offers youth to senior-level programs to get everyone moving. There are many ways to play! Membership options are available for adults, kids, and families. Tennis is also great exercise because it increases hand and eye coordination, agility, speed, strength, and balance. Above all, the sport is social and fun. The USTA National Campus now provides athletics and fun right here in Orlando.

My 8-year-old daughter and her Girl Scout Troop took a trip to the facility. Upon arrival, the friendly staff and coaches greeted us with excitement and were ready to teach the girls all about the game of tennis. Parents adore the kid-size courts, basic skill games, and how quickly the girls learned. In addition, I personally loved the Girl Scouts watching the highly skilled teens and young adults play matches. Overall, the scouts found inspiration in the players and watched as powerful female players displayed dynamic athletic skills.
